Engineered to maximize holding power for three-, four- and five-axis machining centers, Mate workholding is said to reduces setup times and process variability, while providing accuracy and repeatability in a compact, quick-change, modular design. The system is also compatible with similar 52-mm and 96-mm four-post, pull-stud configurations from Lang, Jergens, 5th Axis, Gerardi and others.

Mate’s DynoGrip self-centering vises feature quick-change jaws that are hardened, interchangeable and reversible, and no tools are required to attach or remove. The vises’ anti-lift design enables the pusher and jaw to exert downward force on the piece part. Synchronized timed threads on both the lead screw and pushers provude repeatable precision centering and interchangeable replacement components. Mate’s QuickSpecs, a 2D barcode tag that is smartphone enabled and 3D graphic supported provides the user with links to full product specs and CAD files. Each vise features Black Diamond surface treatment for maximum life.
