I can't help but wonder if half of these products are moving in the wrong direction.  Does a simple metal blade need a humongous hook-shaped molded plastic body with half a dozen moving parts?  Will we look back on these one day and say "yikes, that's a lot of un-repairable, excessive amount of moving plastic parts"?  Are these truly an improvement on knife design or just another flashy piece of ergonomic plastic?  Fancy dual-injection parts that are virtually impossible to recycle.  This site does a great job of promoting sustainable design while also promoting the least sustainable designs possible.....  Uline makes a $9 all-metal box cutter. Ergonomics aside, are these an improvement?  An LCA would say no.....
